Hi there,
you might not have realized it yet. But I have had no idea what I would like to do for a hobby really. So that is why I am starting this blog. To find out what it is I like doing best. Personally, for one thing everyone enjoys doing something or another. But what is it that makes one's hobby the most interesting of them all?
Some may call various activities hobbies: 'sports, photography, hanging out with friends, writing...etc' So far, for me I have placed into my resume something along the lines of assembling a PC or even learning about various programming languages. This is so that it will improve my chances of getting an even better job. But to what end? I mean is this all really necessary? Getting your hobbies to align with getting a job?
For myself, I do not personally always enjoy fixing computers or even doing programming all the time. But they do consume much of my time. Hence, if work does not become a hobby it would be considered as a 'job' right? Much less to say, if blogging is one of the other outlets that I enjoy doing it is because I intended to venture into various grounds that being said... it does help if you had some money to finance a hobby...
What if you wanted a hobby that does not require much money... something that was cheap and valuable. I mean, look at our forefathers... they could just get by playing 'mahjong' (without really gambling), watching old fashion movies and listening to the radio, or even taking a walk outside...etc.. Do you really need to spend money for a hobby? Coming to think of it, look at the present generation. By spending money on playing computer games, watching movies, or even surfing all require some sort of 'expense' and investment.
Not to mention, money is becoming increasingly difficult and scarce. With this kind of mentality shouldn't we try to become less materialistic and enjoy the best things in life? The 'ones' that don't require money? It seems like I am rather naive, but upon saying that I am interested in finding a hobby that has minimal cost to it. Or at least if I were to spend I would find ways to minimize that cost. In the long run, I would indeed like to have the money to spend on the 'hobbies' which require spending... But how about trying to save worthwhile money on a hobby that needed some spending (minimal - at least)...
Take for instance, golf is an expensive hobby. And so is photography. But what if you wanted to do those hobbies and at the same time spend as little as possible?
Think about it...
